Privacy
This policy explains what information Atalumis collects, why, and what we do with it. We've written it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate — if anything is unclear, email us.
Who we are
Atalumis is operated by Tom Dunbar, trading as Atalumis. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@atalumis.com.
What we collect and why
When you submit an enquiry or request an AI visibility report, we collect the information you provide: your name, business email address, company name, and, depending on the form, your role, website, and broad revenue and headcount bands.
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, assess fit, and — where you've requested a report — to produce and deliver it. We do not use it for bulk marketing, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interests: you've contacted us with a business enquiry and we have a legitimate interest in handling it.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry data for two years from the date of submission, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever is sooner. If we enter a working relationship, we may retain relevant contact details for the duration of that relationship and a reasonable period after it ends.
Who else handles your data
Your data is stored in a database hosted by Neon (neon.tech) and served via Vercel (vercel.com). Both act as processors on our behalf — they store data securely and do not use it for their own purposes. No other third parties have access to your enquiry data.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to our processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@atalumis.com. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk — though we'd always prefer the chance to resolve it directly first.
Cookies
This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We may set a strictly necessary session cookie if you interact with a form; it is not used for analytics or profiling.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top. We won't retrospectively change how we handle data already collected without notifying you.
